25.04.09
The 25.04.09 project is a collaboration between the photographers Eric Genevrier and Pétur Thomsen.
On April 25 2009, the day of the first General parliamentary elections after the financial crash in Iceland in late 2008, the two photographers took a one day road trip to look at the country on this decisive moment. The result is the book 25.04.09, published by the authors.
The work was shown in the exhibition You are more beautiful than a butterfly in Gallery Turpentine in June 2009.
